Raven Homes to Build New Home in Wellesley

Jan 27, 2015

Raven Homes, Inc., a MetroWest home builder, is heading east where it will take on its next big new construction project in the community of Wellesley. 8BrookfieldCircle.jpgFollowing the trend in some Boston suburbs of tearing down homes and replacing them with new, Raven Homes seeks to make someone’s dream of new construction a reality in this beautiful and historic community.

The teardown trend in many suburban towns has accelerated over the past few years as the economy has bounced back. Teardowns are rising in communities close to Boston, like Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Dover and Sherborn, with developable land at a minimum. With the economy on the rebound, many life science, health care and high-tech companies are attracting affluent professionals and talent to the region, and these families all seem to want new construction.

For Wellesley, its downtown shopping and business district, top-rated schools and its proximity to Boston are attracting new families and keeping growing families in the town where they have already laid down their roots. In a community like Wellesley, there’s only one way to fulfill those new construction dreams…and that’s by tearing down old houses in well-established neighborhoods.

Buyers have to realize that buying an existing home may often not meet all of their needs, perhaps in need of an addition, a finished basement or the updating of kitchen and baths. With a new home, especially if pre-sold, instead of having to reconstruct or renovate an existing and outdated home, buyers will get what they want. 8brookfield_newhome.jpgAnd even more importantly, you’ll be getting a more energy efficient home built to today’s standards.

With the demolition permit in hand, the existing 1456 square-foot home will soon be removed, leaving a beautiful 1/3 acre, cul-de-sac lot, to be replaced with a home almost three times its size.

Raven Homes is not new to luxury homes. It is proud to have built and sold more than 60 homes in other MetroWest Massachusetts communities including, Medway, Mendon, Hopkinton, Southborough, Northborough, Shrewsbury, Holden and Boylston, in its more than 20 years in the home building industry.

The Wellesley project will be marketed by Ken Barber of Natick’s Barber Real Estate. You can view details on the listing here and contact Ken for more information by email  at [email protected]
